Who we are
Field Theory ("we") is operated by [LEGAL NAME], based in [STATE]. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].
What you get
Field Theory publishes college football ratings output. The Top 25 is free. Win probabilities, spreads, projected margins, and moneylines for upcoming games are paid content, available per game or through a subscription. Predictions can change before kickoff as the model updates, and stop changing once a game starts. After a game is final, its prediction is published free in the archive.
Personal use
Single-game purchases and the Every Game subscription are licensed to one individual for personal, non-commercial use. You may not share, resell, republish, or redistribute paid content, or share your sign-in links or account.
Commercial use
Any use of Field Theory data by or for a business, organization, or other non-individual requires a Commercial License ($99 per month). This includes use in products, media, newsletters, apps, services, research for clients, or internal business decisions. The Commercial License includes a weekly data download for use within the licensed organization; redistributing the data outside it requires written permission.
Accounts and access
You don't need an account to buy a single game. Purchases are tied to the email used at checkout; signing in with that email shows them on other devices. Automated scraping or bulk collection of site content is not allowed.
Payments, renewals, and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled; you can cancel anytime from your account, and access continues through the end of the paid period. [REFUND POLICY]
No guarantees
Ratings, probabilities, spreads, margins, and moneylines are statistical estimates for informational and entertainment purposes. They are not guarantees of any outcome, and you are responsible for how you use them.
Third-party data and trademarks
Game data is provided by CollegeFootballData.com. Team names and colors identify teams only and do not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by any school, conference, or the NCAA.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. [GOVERNING LAW]
