Field Theory is operated by Field Theory Predictions LLC, a Utah limited liability company. This policy describes what the site collects and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you buy something or sign in.
- A name, if you set one on an account.
- Your organization's name, if you buy a commercial license.
- A record of what you bought and when, with the identifiers Stripe provides for the payment.
- The IP address and browser user-agent of a sign-in session, used to limit how often sign-in emails can be requested.
Card details are sent from your browser to Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
Cookies
The site sets two cookies of its own, neither of them needed to read anything.
- Checkout — a single-use token that matches a completed license payment to the browser that made it. Two hours.
- Sign-in — keeps you signed in. Thirty days.
Advertising measurement
We advertise on X and run their measurement tag to see whether those ads lead to sales. It reports page views, and purchases with their amount, and X may set its own cookies in the process. We do not pass it your email address or anything else personal. Any ad blocker stops all of it.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and the database.
- Stripe, which processes payments and holds the payment record.
- Resend, which sends sign-in emails, delivered through Amazon SES.
- X, which receives the advertising measurement described above.
We do not sell personal information. The only thing shared for advertising is the measurement above: that a visit or a purchase happened, and what the purchase was worth.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept for accounting and tax purposes. Other data is kept until you ask us to remove it.
Removing your data
Email privacy@fieldtheorypredictions.com from the address you signed up with to have your account and the data attached to it deleted. Payment records may be kept where the law requires. You can also use that address to ask what data we hold about you.

Changes to this policy are reflected in the date at the top of this page.
